Pub meet

I say we kick things off with a pub meet so us initial few can get to know each other over a few drinks.

I was thinking the Red Lion in Sheffield city centre, Zomoniac presumably you need it to be after the weekend of the 10th May...
We should bear in mind that there's a full Sheffield Forum meet on Wednesday 14th May - perhaps just meet at that? I'll be going there anyway.

I'm easy. I'm actually tied up for most of the following weekend as well, so it would have to be a midweek thing or not until the weekend of the 24th. I may be at the forum meet to make myself known if I'm not too busy with unpacking and stuff, but if I can't then maybe something like Monday the 19th would be good.

Zo, who has just realised he opened with "I'm easy", then proceeded to explain why he isn't easy.

Haha, ok, we may have to set it for the 19th then, that suits me.

The 19th is 2 days before my first exam so not great for me. The end of that week may be a little better but maybe I'll just have to leave doing anything until after them.

We can go later in the week if it's easier, perhaps the 23rd?

Anybody else have commitments we should take into account?

I stil have exams but possibly, Zo has to be up early the next day though. Something around 30th would be much better for me if good for others?

im busy on the 23rd, but available after... beginning of june (31st May or 1st/2nd June) would be the best as I would have just been paid then too ;)

Does someone more well versed in the pubs and bars of Sheffield want to suggest a city centre pub to meet up in?

Sounds good. In the city centre there is the Devonshire Cat which is good. The Springvale's my local on the off chance that anyone else lives out that way, but the Dev Cat's probably the best bet.
